Tutoriage essay writing service is a property of a Cyprus-based Forpio Limited. While the website looks modern and stylish at first glance, some pages, such as FAQ, are downright sloppy. With no round-the-clock support, annoying pop-ups, and a lengthy bidding process, Tutoriage is far from ideal. Is it worth your time? Find the answer in my review.
This website provides a wide range of academic writing services. You can get anything from an admission essay to a dissertation. Case studies, business plans, research papers, and more are available too. Besides original pieces, the company can edit, paraphrase, or proofread your work. You can also review the profiles of the TOP writers and browse their customer feedback. Some writers’ stats seem unrealistic, and I would have preferred to learn more about their school, degree, and major.
It’s challenging to identify Tutoriage price range because you have to post a project and wait for writers’ bids to get an idea of how much you will have to pay. I decided to order a 3-page-long essay on a 5-day deadline. The proposals started at $74 and went up to $84. That’s well above mid-range prices. I couldn’t find discount codes or coupons, so there was no way to lower the order total.
My Tutoriage Reddit search did not provide any insight into the company reputation. However, SiteJabber was a pleasant surprise with 4 and 5-star reviews all around. I almost missed a huge red flag that waited for me on Trustpilot. There was a notice about a large number of fake Tutoriage reviews that were removed. While the remaining posts were mostly positive, an accusation of cheating left an unpleasant taste in my mouth.
I wanted to learn more about the Tutoriage writing team, their degrees, and command of English. However, I could not reach the support team through live chat. There were no operators online, and all I received was a prompt to leave a message. I wasn’t ready to wait so long, so I went through with my order without the answers.
Is Tutoriage illegal or fraudulent? If you believe their Terms & Conditions, it is neither. However, some clauses were so vague; they made me wonder whether I could trust this website. For one, you only have three days to make use of the unlimited revisions. Moreover, you can’t request a refund without at least one or two revisions depending on the deadline of your order. According to the Terms & Conditions, there are full and partial refund options, but every case is subjective and requires thorough investigation before you get your money back.
First, I filled in the order form. It was standard fare with fields for the deadline, number of pages, subject, paper type, and more. I supplied the topic and instructions, uploaded additional files, and avoided writer-related features. Next, I had to wait for the bids to come in. There were plenty, though most bids were within the same price range, and I did not see much difference between the writers. I exchanged messages with a couple of writers and chose one to work on my order. The whole bidding process seemed unnecessarily drawn-out. I would have been happy with a pre-selected writer.
Is Tutoriage legit? The paper I got for over $70 was anything but. Despite my instructions to use at least ten sources, the writer only included five, and those were mostly blog posts and Wikipedia entries. The analysis was also lacking. I think a high-schooler would have done a better job of my Literature essay than a supposedly expert writer with a college degree. I suspect the writer was not a native English speaker and had trouble researching the topic and putting together a compelling argument.
The order form offered me a variety of writer-related add-ons. I could upgrade to a Premium or Platinum writer for an additional 10% or 15% to my order total. The company also offered to choose the best writer automatically for $9.99. Considering most writing companies do this for free, I didn’t see the reason to add ten dollars to an already overpriced service.
After all this, is Tutoriage scam? I don’t believe this company sets out to steal your money, but the quality of their services does not justify the rates. The main outtakes from my reviews include:
