Myperfectwords.com is supposedly an American custom writing company specializing in on-demand academic writing help. This company doesn’t seem to be widely popular among students, but I decided to write this myperfectwords review for those thinking of using writing help provided by them. I found no information in particular about the company itself, where it’s registered and whether it has a physical office. This only fueled my interest to learn more about this service. So let’s try solve this riddle together.
The list of services the company can help you with is quite exhaustive. You can order a simple book or movie review, a thesis or even a dissertation. Myperfectwords writers also provide assistance with presentations, speech-writing, and business writing. They can also do a quiz for you and other tasks that require problem-solving skills.
According to information given on the Writers’ page, you’ll be “working with a team of native English academic professionals ranked #1 among our competitors by The National Board of Professional Scholastic Writers.” I tried to find what the National Board of Professional Scholastic Writers was but failed.
The only organization I found that seemed to have the similar name was National Board Certification for elementary and middle school teachers.
That fact raised my eyebrow. Are K1-K8 teachers their writers? Don’t think so.
Prices at myperfectwords.com start at $15 per page for High School level, an 8-day deadline (the maximum deadline available). Prices are average but it’s with a 50% discount as indicated on their page.
So original prices must start at $30 per page which is too much for a high school level paper I must admit. I’m more than sure it’s just a marketing trick to lull gullible students into believing they’ve found a real bargain and eventually converting them into customers. Doesn’t seem to be a fair strategy.
Though myperfectwords reviews are overly positive on sites like TrustPilot and SiteJabber:
The first two reviews I found on TrustPilot had few “good words”
The newest review was dated December 19, 2018 and I found it a bit suspicious. Why has nobody almost in half a year left any comments about this service? Are comments moderated by site owners and many are just deleted ‘cause they reveal the uncomfortable truth the company is trying to hide? I was hoping to find the answers to my questions on Reddit. Bad luck, there were no myperfectwords reddit reviews except for their own subreddit. Does it mean that myperfectwords scam? Or we’re just overestimating and trying to belittle a legit company?
I contacted their support agent via live chat option available on their website. The support Randall was quick to answer back but seemed not always to understand my questions at a first go:
And Randall disappeared after a couple of questions I asked him. Is that a professional behavior? I let you make the decision yourself.
It took me some time before I found their money back policy. There’s no special page devoted to it like many similar sites have. But I got even more frustrated when I eventually found it. If you’re looking for a myperfectwords refund, I have to disappoint you as they have none. Once you paid for their services, you can forget about getting your money back. There is something said about the revision if you don’t like the paper but it’s so hazy and tricky I doubt they will do anything for you once the writer finished working on the paper.
Apart from that, it’s written in their policy: “...under no circumstances will you submit any materials purchased through or from Myperfectwords.com…” It appears strange because their support told me I could turn this paper in as mine. Is myperfectwords.com legit after all that discrepancies? I think it is not!
I had the gut feeling I shouldn’t even look at their order form but for the experiment’s sake, I had to place an order to write this unbiased review. To start the ordering process, click on the “Order” button or link in the site header. At the first step you have to provide your email and cell phone, choose the document type and academic level you study at, set the deadline and indicate how many pages the paper should have and click Next. After that, you’ll be required to select the title for your paper and subject, and formatting preferences. You also have to choose how many sources should be used in the paper and attach any additional details if you have any. The last step will be to pay for your paper.
I ordered a 5-page essay on solar energy. The writer should have proven or refuted the fact the future is for the green energy. Well, he tried to draw some good parallels which seemed credible but he obviously lacked a good command of English. It wasn’t even written by an ENL writer. They sentence structure and the way thoughts were organized were not that of native English speakers. I tried to contact the support and they even promised to revise it. The bottom line is I got almost the same paper with some touch-ups, that’s it.
The company doesn’t have any extra features available at the moment.
Myperfectwords.com seems to have the “perfect words” only in their company name, which I can’t say about their essays and money back policy. Unclear and conflict terms of use, unprofessional support, and bad quality of writing these are my words which I would use to describe this company.
