This time my goal is an Artscolumbia review. The company is located in New York and resembles Paperap.com to some extent. The site is modern and truly beautiful. It's minimalistic style promises that the site is easy to navigate. Well, we'll see ;)
The company offers 3 types of service - writing, rewriting, and editing. What is interesting, they also offer 3 types of writer quality - standard, premium, and platinum.
Artscolumbia is a kind of service that openly states their writers are freelancers. Well, I wonder if the company is going to bear any responsibility for freelance writers. This point makes me doubt whether I should order a paper from Artscolumbia. That’s in fact everything I’ve found about their writers. There’s nothing said about whether they are native speakers or not. Writers degree is predetermined by a writer quality status where standard is just a verified writer (with no degree I assume), premium means Bachelor’s degree, and platinum stands for Master’s degree and higher.
On the homepage, they state that their papers cost $13.90 per page, which is an average price. On the homepage of the site, there’s a clickable order form that seems to be very convenient.
I tried all services types, writer quality statuses, and all different deadlines. Though, the price for 1 page remained the same, no matter what other requirements are. This makes me think that a platinum writer provides papers of the same quality as a standard one. In this form, the cost will change only if you choose more pages. Seems the company works for quantity, not for quality.
The site of Artscolumbia doesn’t contain any testimonials from customers. Of course, I had to answer the questions “Is Artscolumbia legit?” That’s why I had to search some trustworthy sites, and I found no Arts Columbia reviews there. Moreover, the Artscolumbia Reddit query also gave me no results. Again and again, is Artscolumbia.org safe? It’s up to you to decide.
The site has a live chat with customer support. I wrote them to get to know if their writers are native speakers. As they replied, they have native speaker writers AS WELL. This makes me think that most of writers at Artscolumbia are not native speakers.
Regarding the support agents, they were rather fast and friendly, but seems they provided non-human answers. Because when I asked how I can choose a native speaker for my paper, I got this in reply:
As you can see, they also claimed I can pay after I see the final paper. A huge lie straight in my face! It’s impossible, and everyone knows it! Before you pay, no one even starts working on your order - that’s how it works in ANY writing service company.
Well, we’ve come to the most important part - chargeback. This company gives you only 3 days to get your paper, check it, and make a complaint or request a revision. Otherwise, you’ll have no chance to save your money. This is a very short time period, so you better be in a hurry.
You will find no applicable information about money back guarantee and cases you can ask your payment back. So, you can’t be sure if Artscolumbia will pay you back in case of any issue occurred. Is Artscolumbia scam? Who knows...
Order placing is standard here like in most writing companies. As usually, it’s comprehensible but takes a lot of time. I tried to find Artscolumbia discount code, but found nothing like that.
Artscolumbia provided me with an ordinary essay paper of average quality. Nothing special I would say. Some grammar mistakes and not so strong and impressive content.
The only extra feature by the company is Plagiarism Checker. I would say it worked properly, but actually no… The program highlighted separate words that simply can’t be counted as plagiarism.
